Terms of Service
Last updated: May 27, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of ParallelCals, a service for connecting calendar accounts, synchronizing availability, and reducing double bookings.
Who Provides the Service
ParallelCals is operated by ICIRAUQUI SL. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@parallelcals.com.
Using ParallelCals
You may use ParallelCals only if you can legally enter into these Terms. You are responsible for your account, your connected calendar accounts, your synchronization rules, and the accuracy of the settings you configure, including booking links, event creation, attendee invitations, and meeting-link settings.
You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep your login credentials secure. If you use ParallelCals for an organization, you represent that you have authority to use the service for that organization.
Calendar Connections
ParallelCals works only when you authorize supported calendar providers and grant the permissions needed for the features you enable. You may revoke provider access at any time, but doing so may stop synchronization or remove the application's ability to update mirrored events.
ParallelCals creates and manages app-owned calendar blocks according to your active rules. You should review your rules and connected calendars before relying on them for important scheduling.
When you create events or accept bookings through ParallelCals, the service may create provider calendar events, add Google Meet or Microsoft Teams links where supported, invite attendees, send provider-managed email updates, and include cancellation or rescheduling links in the calendar event description. iCloud calendar sync uses Apple app-specific passwords over CalDAV and does not support automatic Google Meet or Microsoft Teams creation.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, its infrastructure, or connected provider APIs.
- Attempt to access accounts, calendars, data, or systems you are not authorized to access.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service except where allowed by law.
- Use the service to send spam, malware, or unwanted communications.
Plans, Trials, and Billing
ParallelCals may offer free access, trials, promotion grants, and paid subscriptions. Unless otherwise stated in the product, connecting calendars is free, while active syncing between calendars is billed monthly through Stripe based on the billable units shown in the app. A billing unit is a simple capacity increment used for synced calendars and active rules.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel through the billing portal where available or by contacting support. Cancellations normally take effect at the end of the current billing period unless the product or applicable law says otherwise. Partial-month refunds are not provided unless required by law, explicitly approved by ParallelCals, or required by mandatory consumer protection rules.
Trials, promotion codes, manual grants, and free-pro access may be changed, limited, revoked, or ended if they are misused, granted in error, or conflict with these Terms.
Availability and Sync Accuracy
Calendar synchronization depends on third-party calendar providers, webhook delivery, API limits, authentication status, network availability, your settings, and background job execution. We work to make the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that every event, booking, mirror, webhook, or sync action will be immediate, uninterrupted, or error-free.
You are responsible for checking your calendars and handling scheduling conflicts that may occur. ParallelCals is a scheduling aid, not a guarantee that conflicts can never happen.
Third-Party Services
The service relies on third-party providers such as calendar providers, hosting providers, database providers, and payment processors. Your use of those providers may be governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for provider outages, account restrictions, API changes, or permission changes outside our control.
Google Calendar data is used according to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. Microsoft calendar data is used according to Microsoft API and Microsoft Graph terms. We use provider data only for user-facing calendar, availability, booking, and synchronization features you enable.
Your Data and Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using ParallelCals, you acknowledge that we process account, calendar, billing, and technical information as described there.
You retain ownership of your calendar data. You grant ParallelCals the permissions needed to operate the service, including reading synchronization-relevant event data and creating, updating, or deleting app-owned mirrored calendar blocks, user-created events, booking events, attendee invitations, conference links, and booking management links according to your settings.
If you use ParallelCals for an organization or business customer and ParallelCals processes calendar data on that customer's instructions, the Data Processing Addendum applies to that processing.
Intellectual Property
ParallelCals, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, belongs to ParallelCals or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you. You may use the service only as permitted by these Terms.
Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security or operational risk, fail to pay required fees, or use the service in a way that may harm ParallelCals, other users, or third-party providers.
Termination may stop active synchronization. It may not automatically remove every calendar item previously created by the service if provider access is unavailable or revoked. When account deletion offers optional future mirror cleanup, deletion may be blocked until that cleanup succeeds so provider credentials remain available for retry.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ParallelCals will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business, or scheduling conflicts. Our total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to ParallelCals in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of ParallelCals after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require a different rule. Courts with proper jurisdiction will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally.
